Hello to my 12th of 12 in March 2024.

My day in 12 pictures on the 12th of the month. Today there are only 10 pictures.

This morning I actually just wanted to pay the neighbor a quick visit to express my condolences. We chatted a bit and I didn't manage to do everything I wanted to. Nevertheless, it was a nice time, for her and also for me.

Primroses come in many colors, I know. But I particularly like this berry color and enjoy its strong color.

The first flowers appear in the moss. The contrasts are immediately striking and somehow make me think of red lipstick. Whatever the reason the thought comes to mind now.

In the 12th of February I sowed the potted cucumbers. 3 out of 5 worked. One nibbled on our princess and so there are only two left. I now turn them every day so that they grow as straight as possible. At the end of March I will sow some again. Once a week they put incense sticks in the pot - for positive energy. I have found that the little annoying fungus gnats stay away when I regularly burn incense sticks in the pots and the plants seem to be doing well. I do that with the houseplants too.

Of course, while I'm writing this post, the princess can't be missed. Always there and in the middle. And the final opponent of the potted cucumber and the eggplant pupils.

My first attempt this year: growing peas on the windowsill. It looks good. The temperature in the next few days is expected to remain in the double digits. You will then chill on the balcony during the day. Let's see if it works as I think.

The little potted tomato seedlings get basil as a companion. Last year the tomatoes tasted great and I had to repeat that this year.

Since the little one spends time in bed with a sore throat, sneezing and coughing, we decided to make strawberry ice cream. Tomorrow it will certainly help with recovery.

The Wednesday View blog post for tomorrow still needs to be written. I'm a little behind this week, but it's only Tuesday :-)

Day 6 with the new collagen . It tastes like pineapple, there is a hint of tropical and is reminiscent of Pina Colada in summer :-) At least that was my first thought when I took the first shot.

 

In the last few days I have been writing or calling more people who are interested in a job in the home office. Same today. One of my goals for 2024 is to put more energy into team building again. When you think of cosmetics sales, you tend to think of it as a woman's thing. What's even more surprising to me is the interest shown by men. In a positive sense, because exchanging male perspectives on the topic would be a great experience. At least I think so.
